Biology of Voice
The voice is a warm inland sea
palate and tongue,
the soft passing of breath
undulating on the beach
outline secret internal textures.
Wherever there are voices
there is flesh, singing body songs.
Wherever there is flesh there is love.
Human Immunity
The minute mind tumor,
inappropriate wishes
will never escape
into the blood,
locked as it is
behind layers
of closed eyes
and night,
timed rituals,
and magic words.
