What I’m Not Eating
Nearly dinner time I read this poem
that mentions lambs in Spring
and I think it says lambs and mint
and suddenly I’ve got this craving
but I know I won’t be eating it
any time soon.
What I will be eating is pork
and noodles and fried rice
and da bai tai
and sure these are ok
but they’re not minted lamb, are they?
